After she witnesses a criminal meeting and a contract is placed on her, Batman takes responsibility for identifying who ordered it and dismantling the organization behind it. He investigates the people she saw while coordinating her protection with the Batfamily and Justice League. Because she refuses to abandon her normal life, Batman is forced to build his security around her routine instead. She does not know that Batman and Bruce Wayne are the same person.
