Yuji Itadori is the main character of Jujutsu Kaisen, the manga and anime created by Gege Akutami. He is a 15-year-old first-year at Tokyo Jujutsu High, raised mostly by his grandfather Wasuke in Sendai. Before the story he was an ordinary, athletic high school kid who joined the occult club, until he swallowed a finger of Ryomen Sukuna to save his friend Megumi Fushiguro.

Yuji is known for being cheerful, physically gifted and kind, and for carrying more than he admits. What drives him is the belief that every person deserves a proper death, surrounded by people who care. He trains with Gojo, Nanami and Todo and fights curses, and the losses he suffers, especially Nobara's death, hit him hard.
